Fuji-Q Highland

Very fun rides, especially for thrill seekers. We were very blessed with a lovely view of Fuji san almost all day. Check out the ferris wheel for a nice viewpoint! However, the ride queues closed very early in comparison to the park hours. For reference, we tried to join the queue for 2 different coasters at about 4:15pm and both had closed the queues for the day. (The park closes at 6pm promptly). If there is an attraction you really want to ride, make it a priority early in the day. We especially loved the 4th dimension coaster with 14 spins (a Guinness world record!)

Great theme park with some awesome intense rain coasters. I went with a group of adults, but there are plenty of attractions for kids of all ages. The food is great and the entry fee is beyond reasonable. We took a bus from Tokyo and it was very easy to get there and back. Train and bus reservations do fill up, so be sure to book your travel early to get your first choice on times and transportation. We wanted to visit by train, but each train was fully booked. We had a great time, and beautiful views of Mt. Fuji!

If you love rollercoasters you cannot go past Fuji-Q Highland. This was our second time visiting the park after our first visit 10 years ago. Fuji-Q Highland have some of the biggest and fastest rollercoasters in the world, but they are also the smoothest I've ever been on. Compared to Disney and Universal this place is incredibly affordable with a fraction of the wait times - no wait at all if you spring for a few priority passes. And with better rollercoasters than the other parks! Fujiyama, Eejanaika and Takabisha are all incredible. Our only complaint was that Zokkon wasn't operating that day so we couldn't ride it. :( We went on a Monday in early December which meant it was pretty quiet at the park, and views of Mt Fuji were incredible. Cannot recommend this park highly enough!

Holy hippopotamus hecking smokes. These coasters here are some of the biggest and fastest in the world, but they’re surprisingly smooth, honestly better than what you’ll find at Disney or Universal. It’s way more affordable too. Since entry is free and you can just pay for what you want or grab a day pass if you're hitting more than three rides. ​The park isn't as "pretty" or themed as Disney, but it's practical. We stayed at a hostel two minutes away and got to the gates by 9:30 AM for the 10:00 AM opening. We walked to Eejanaika with a 10-minute wait, but by the time we got off, the line was already at 50 minutes. Even in January, the big rides like Takabisha and Zokkon stayed around an hour wait. Paying 2000 yen for a fast pass to skip the line was a great call, you go straight to the front, just the experience of walk pass everyone lining up and seeing how frustrated they were was worth it👌 Just don’t lose that physical fast-pass ticket. My mate lost his, which held us back a cycle and we lost all our aura. We had just spent the morning laughing while walking past everyone straight onto the rides. My mate decided he would lose it inside his jacket, so we were stuck waiting right next to the people we’d just bypassed. It was a little awkward, kind of like seeing your ex in public when you're both stuck in the same grocery store line. ​The food was actually quality, not the cheap, greasy stuff you’d expect at a theme park. They even have vegan ramen and curry at the Food Stadium. A big plus is that the day pass lets you leave and come back later, so we went back to the room for a bit and returned at night. The safety checks can feel slow, but they’re thorough, which is fine when you’re on rides this intense. Definitely worth the money.

The best amusement park in the world!! Not even kidding…. I love good roller coasters and The big rides here were actually scary ! But also being able to see the views of Mount Fuji before you drop into one of the worlds scariest roller coaster is also surreal !
