飛騨国分寺三重塔は ・岐阜県指定重要文化財 ・飛騨地方では唯一の塔建築 創建当時は七重塔だったけど、 過去に火事や、戦国時代の消失や、 大風で倒壊するなどで再建を繰り返し、 江戸時代の終わりに庶民から集めたお金で 現在の姿に生まれ変わることができたそう🍁 それらの時代を見守り続けてきたのが 境内にある大銀杏。 とても立派な大木で 飛騨の方たちに愛されているんだろうなと思いました。 「この葉が全て落ちれば本格的な雪の季節」が訪れると言われており、 樹齢推定1250年の国指定天然記念物🌳 とても見応えがありました。

第2の故郷、岐阜県高山市の醫王山飛騨国分寺さんです 大イチョウと三重塔と、素晴らしい場所でした。 長野県上田市の信濃国分寺の話しをしたら、御朱印を書きながら、少し歴史を聞かせて貰いました。

高山駅からも遠くない、けれども静かなエリア。 三重塔と大銀杏を目印に迷うこと無く着くことが出来ました。 大銀杏は推定800年の樹齢だそうです。葉が色づく頃に是非見てみたい立派な立ち姿です。 ここに建ってる建造物は全て文化財、しかも納められる仏像の数々に至るまで文化財だそうで、もう一度来てみたいリストに加わりました。

三重塔は迫力がありました！ お寺入り口にはさるぼぼが祀られています。 御朱印も直書きで拝受できます。 駐車場は近くのコインパーキングに止めました。

11月下旬に行ったときは真っ黄色に染まった大銀杏に感動しました。 ここより高さのある銀杏はまだ見たことありません。
