Just be sure to be familiar with riding a bike, and if there is anything you are unsure of the host, and guide are very happy to help. The farm is lovely, and we learnt so much about tea and the process. The tasting is highly recommended - I never knew tea could have so much umami and story! Kawaguchi station being the tourist hub, you have choice of tourist buses, hotels ,resorts and taxis to explore and enjoy the area as per your pocket and taste... You can travel by a combination of buses and trains to Kawaguchi and be guided by a Tourist information centre located within the Shizuoka and Kawaguchi Railway station, equipped with maps etc.
