What other travelers are saying about Hakata Traditional Craft and Design Museum

Free, and really nice place to go to get a quick review on some traditional craft making and process, very educational. Also the place sells some local crafts from artist, you might even catch some of the artist their. The director was very personable and we talked for a while and even did a bit of translation between me and one of the artist. Great way of educating and promoting local artist.

According to the info I knew, It moved to Hakata in May 2, 2025. I visited here first at Fukuoka City Museum in April 2025, and found it has a small exhibiting place.
