This hot spring is recommended for its open-air bath design and spectacular views.
The water is a soft alkaline spring that leaves you feeling refreshed, so you can stay in the bath forever.
It has a simple setup with two clean indoor baths and an open-air bath with an overwhelming presence, but it is recommended for those who want to experience a hot spring that can only be found here.
February 26: I've always wanted to go to this hot spring 🤤 It was a snowy day, so it was completely private. The water wasn't too hot, so I could soak in it for a long time.☺️
It was covered in snow, but people had already made two snowmen, so I made a third.😁
*Photography is prohibited, so no photos of the changing room, indoor bath, or outdoor bath. Apologies! Anyone who posts photos is a bit of a jerk.🤬
There are coin lockers (100 yen) in the post-bath area and in the changing room, where you can get your money back.
There's Shirobara milk in the post-bath area.
They were selling hot spring extract at the reception, so I bought some! It came with a lovely pamphlet, so I bought it as a souvenir.☺️
Souvenir shop? And, grandma? They had handmade hats and all sorts of other items for sale.
The hot springs were great. Both the indoor and outdoor baths are relatively compact, but even a group of 6-7 people could enjoy the hot springs at a comfortable distance. The water is colorless and odorless. It was winter, so we could only enjoy the mountain scenery, but I'm sure it would be even more beautiful in spring, summer, and fall when the trees change color. There's a restaurant next door. It's also a campsite, so it's great to be able to enjoy the hot springs in the evenings or mornings while camping. I'll come again.
