The Ruins of Sakai Castle are located in Sakai. This historical site once housed a significant fortress during the Sengoku period, a time of many battles and conflicts in Japan. The castle was originally built in the 15th century by the local samurai lords to protect the region.

Today, not much of the original structure remains. Visitors can see the foundations and some stone walls that give an idea of the castle's size and strength. These ruins are surrounded by a peaceful park with walking paths and green spaces, making it a nice place for a stroll.

The site is also important because it helps people learn about Japanese history and architecture. Though there's not much left of the castle itself, information boards around the area provide details about its history and significance.

Overall, the Ruins of Sakai Castle offer a glimpse into Japan's past and serve as a reminder of the turbulent times when samurai were prominent figures in society.

Well, it's mostly just the foundation stones. But the view from the wall on the Bay side is good.

A nice quiet park with some ruins. It can be exceptionally great for hanami, but kinda normal during other times. You can feed the Koi fishess there, unless the swarm of pigeons, which somehow only gathers there got on your feeds first xD

Place to spend family time. You can spend atleast half of the day here. Gentle bridge from adjacent sea will relief your monotony if you can find such place within the premise. Bird's songs will give you joy while you are resting under different old trees.
