Came on late Nov, so the autumn leave mostly fall. If you come on early Nov. There will be a lot better… I suggest to come in autumn or in Sakura blossom . Worth a visit.
The most popular time to visit is during cherry blossom season from mid to late April, when approximately 2,500 cherry trees are in full bloom. Autumn is another excellent period, typically from early to mid-November, when around 200 trees display vibrant fall colors. The garden showcases different seasonal flowers throughout its opening period from April through December, so each season offers a unique experience.
Admission fees vary depending on the season. From May 1 to July 20, adults pay 500 yen and elementary/junior high school students pay 300 yen. During other open periods (April 1-30 and July 21-December 31), adults pay 300 yen and students pay 200 yen. The higher spring fees reflect the peak cherry blossom season.
The garden is located about 15 minutes by car from either the Koriyama IC or Hongu exits on the Tohoku Expressway. Free parking is available with space for 200 ordinary vehicles and 10 large buses. The garden is situated along the Gohyaku River between Koriyama City and Motomiya City in Fukushima Prefecture.
Yes, the garden includes a dog park area for visitors with pets. This makes Ryokusuien suitable for both casual strolls and longer leisure visits with family or friends.
