What other travelers are saying about Spa World Osaka
Location is perfect. Hotel is clean and food is delicious. Breakfast buffet totally worth it.
Here are couple of important things you need to know:
- check in to the room 15:00, but you can check in earlier at hotel reception and leave bags in the storage + use facilities (pools saunas etc)
- check out 10:00, if you want to use facilities you just give back room cards but do not settle bill. After settling bill you no longer can use saunas etc. Also you cannot leave your luggage after full check out.
- stone sauna section is payed extra 800¥ (worth doing minimum once for experience, my favourite were Israel one - with aromatherapy and Austria one)
- sauna and onsen are 24/7 (closed for 1.5h cleaning in the morning)
- IMPORTANT: for best experience try to aim to stay here end/beginning of the month, because onsen change avaiblility man/woman monthly (more info on webpage)
- swimming pools are closed around 7-8pm but that depends on the time of year so you need to check it on their webpage
- you can pay everywhere in a hotel with your QR code on the wristband, prices are a little higher than normal, nothing bad (for example 6x takoyaki for 600¥, beer approx 500¥). You can easy stay here for full week and do not leave at all. You settle bill on check out.
- if you got couple of hours to spend go to next door zoo, it was 900¥ entrance only.
Have fun visiting Japan! Enjoy!

I came here without too much expectation and once I figured out the system (which wasn't explained all that well), I was amazed by the variety of baths and the atmosphere of this place. I could easily spend a two or three hours here at a time, alternating the hot baths, cold baths, and saunas.
I was lucky enough to be staying in Osaka right at the end of January, so as the month changed to February, I came back a second time to experience the Asian Zone, and it's even better than the European one!
The only thing that left me a bit confused were the TV's in the sauna rooms. Why?
Highlight of Osaka visit!

We utilized the Spa / Onsen of the resort. It was such an amazing place and experience that we came there 3 nights out of the 4 we stayed at Osaka. Truly one of the more remarkable onsens, that provides a variety of baths, saunas and so forth. Would highly recommend this to anyone. The staff is professional and friendly, and the maintenance of the facilities are excellent
