What more can I say? Super Nintendo World brings back all your childhood memories. So many famous characters and icons are everywhere you look. People of all ages walk around with huge smiles on their faces. Highly Recommended Attractions: Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge – A fun, interactive racing experience where you collect coins while driving. Highly recommended—we went on it twice! Mine Cart Madness – An innovative and thrilling Donkey Kong–themed coaster. Highly recommended. We wanted to ride it again but ran out of time.
It was very busy when we went on the weekend, having to dodge a lot of people walking both ways to and from this attraction, I would recommend getting the app to have a look at the area map. The staff were really nice and helpful when needing help with stuff like locating toilets and chargespot locations. The food at the restaurant was very nice and mario themed. I would recommend arriving early to visit and dodge crowds.
Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan was a fantastic experience. The attention to detail is incredible and you really feel like you've stepped into a Mario game. A few tips for anyone planning to go: First, the pricing is definitely more affordable than what you'd pay in the States, which is a nice bonus. However, you do need a separate timed entry ticket to access this area beyond your regular Universal Studios admission. I highly recommend booking your tickets in advance and reserving your entry timeframe through the app. If you don't do this early in the day, you might miss out completely since slots fill up fast. The land itself is compact but packed with interactive elements. If you're into the full experience, consider getting a Power Up Band to unlock all the games and challenges throughout the area. The theming is next level. The colors, sounds, and moving parts make it feel alive. Even just walking around and taking photos is fun. Yoshi's ride is geared more toward younger kids, but Mario Kart is legitimately impressive with the AR technology. Bottom line: Plan ahead, arrive early, book your timed entry as soon as you enter the park, and be prepared for crowds. It's a must-do if you're a Nintendo fan or visiting with kids. The nostalgia factor alone makes it worthwhile.
I remember feeling very excited to check this place off my itinerary to Japan, and to say the least I was amazed. The lines weren’t too busy and the employee helped me get a reservation needed to enter the park. I went on the Yoshi ride and the Mario kart ride, and even did some shopping at the gift shop after. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I am glad that I got this experience. Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Japan, and would encourage others to do the same.
