Sushiro is a well-known conveyor belt sushi chain in Japan, offering affordable, high-quality sushi in a casual dining setting. Customers can sit at a counter or table and pick plates of sushi that glide by on a conveyor belt.

Each plate is color-coded based on price, so it’s easy to keep track of the meal cost. Sushiro is popular for its wide variety of fresh seafood options, including salmon, tuna, and shrimp, along with seasonal specialties.

The chain uses an automated ordering system, where customers can order specific items from a touchscreen, and the sushi arrives directly at their seats on a separate track.

Sushiro’s quick service and reasonable prices make it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. They also cater to different dietary needs, offering vegetarian and kid-friendly options.

What other travelers are saying about Sushiro

As a tourist, what’s not to like? Fish quality is good, conveyor belt style is super fun, and atmosphere is bustling. We ate until we were very full and it was cheap. We were a party of 2 and our baby and we were seated in about 5 minutes at 8pm.

we loved it more for the experience itself than the food. waiting time was long, food mid quality, but we still enjoy it for the activity. so o think it’s worth it to go at least once just to see how does it work

Very busy as there are many tourists that like to come for sushi. Pricing is not bad for what you get. Sushi is fresh and taste is good. Good option for lunch or dinner. You need to get a number and wait until your number is called. The screen said 90 minute wait but it's actually much less time that that. People go in and out quickly, food service is fast. Mostly self serve for water, cutlery and condiments. Would come again.

This is a very popular revolving sushi restaurant. You scan the code with your phone and place orders. The food comes out within minutes. The food is very fresh. You can get a wide range of options from affordable cuts of salmon and tuna, to very expensive dishes. When I came here there was a deal on sea urchin for 140 yen a piece. Very affordable (I can only speak as a tourist). It is extremely popular. Later on at night, the what times can get close to an hour. But there is a lot to do around the area. I definitely recommend.

I had such a wonderful time here! The sushi was not only fresh and delicious, but the entire dining experience was so much fun. I loved being able to order from the screen and watching my sushi arrive on the conveyor belt — it felt like a little food adventure at every moment. Each piece was beautifully made, and the variety was amazing — from salmon and shrimp to uni and squid, everything tasted incredible. The atmosphere was casual yet exciting, and it made me feel so happy and relaxed. Honestly, it’s one of those meals that stays with you — not just because of the food, but because of how much joy it brought. If you’re a sushi lover like me, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely come back again!
