What other travelers are saying about WARP Shinjuku
Clean your sticky floor. Teach bartenders in a main room some manners, worst service in Japan (back room guy was really friendly tho). Music was horrible, like Vengaboys in a main room?! Also pretty sexist entrance policy - men pay more than wemen. Sorry, so outdated venue and vibes.
The club offers a mix of electronic dance music (EDM), hip-hop, and techno across its multiple floors. Each floor usually features a different DJ and genre, catering to a wide range of musical tastes.
The entrance fee varies depending on the event or day of the week. Typically, it ranges from ¥2,000 to ¥4,000, with discounts often available for women or for those who arrive early.
Yes, admission often includes a free drink ticket, and additional drinks can be purchased at the bar. Drink prices vary, with most cocktails and beers costing between ¥600 and ¥1,000.
No reservations are required for general entry, but VIP table bookings can be made in advance for a more exclusive experience.
Yes, WARP Shinjuku has an age restriction, and patrons must be at least 20 years old. A valid ID (passport or Japanese ID) is required for entry.
I was in Tokyo for a couple of days and decided to check out the night life here. I settled on this place, and had fun!
I paid the entrance fee and it came with a free drink voucher, I think it was for females only, I don't remember . I don't know if it was a promotion or a common thing so I just thought I'd mention it
I'm a foreigner and they spoke adequate enough English to understand me, for me experience
I went here during a weekday. It was almost entirely empty with about 10-15 ish people on the dance floor. I didn't mind because I was there for the music. I got a Moscow mule at the bar, it was good: drink prices are okay. The artist I saw there was Claw, who I believe is a residential DJ there? He was good, I loved his set :)
For anyone that has tattoos, it was okay for me to enter. I was wearing a sleeveless shirt, with tatted arms showing, and was able to enter. I was a little wary because the website does have restrictions against it, but it didn't affect me.
omg, what can I say!!! amazing music, atmosphere, welcoming and the lady’s bathroom… dang … I came here solo, not travel solo, just to this club solo….people are so friendly 🥰 loved it… oohh and you get a drink with your entrance 🙏🏽🙌🏽💓🫠
I had my first night club night in Japan here and it was awesome!!!!! There were dancers doing acrobatis like air yoga and girls dancing on stage every once in a while and the girls were so beautiful!!! Not a hostel club or anything just a normal club!!! There was a Dupstep event on the 2nd floor and the mix was sick! Another room for Japanese only music and most people there were only Japanese. Went on a Thursday so the amount of people was good and not suffocating. Me and my friends are looking forward to go next week again all night!!! Also, when the club closed at 4:30, they gave us hand warmers at the exit which I thought was so kind! Don't know if it's a common practice everywhere but I appreciated it as it was like 4°C at 7am when I decided to go back home and the hand warmer was still warming 😆🩷
i’m from Australia currently in Japan for a holiday, i got told this club is really good!
By far the worst one i’ve been to in my life
- overpriced for men $45 AUD roughly.
- Small , Music is all the same , just not a vibe
If you’re honestly looking for a good club in Japan Tokyo - I would highly recommend ‘ATOM Shibuya ‘
better atmosphere, several floors for music and it’s all different! and cheaper. You’re able to socialise more meet new people it’s way better.
WARP is very overrated. Would never spend a cent there again.
