A full-day tour from Hiroshima led by a local English-speaking guide, covering Shukkei-en Garden, Hiroshima Castle ruins, Peace Memorial Park and Museum, and Miyajima Island via the World Heritage Sea Route ferry. All admissions, ferry, and train transport are included in the tour price.
Lunch is not included. Approximately 2 hours of free time is provided on Omotesando Shopping Street on Miyajima, where restaurants and food stalls serve local specialties including oysters, conger eel, and momiji manju.
No. The guided visit covers the castle grounds, including the Castle Tower exterior, Ninomaru enclosure, and Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine. Entry inside the tower is not included.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended throughout. In summer, lightweight clothing, sunscreen, and water are advised. In winter, warm and layered clothing is recommended.
If any part of the itinerary cannot proceed as scheduled, the tour operator will arrange a suitable alternative and inform guests as early as possible.

I went for a solo trip with the guide, Isabella, and she was amazing at showing the best highlights of Hiroshima and Miyajima all in one day. I particularly enjoyed the history of Hiroshima city. I didn’t expect much of Miyajima, however I now realise it’s definitely a must see place for everyone visiting the area.

Great tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima
Isabelle was a first class tour guide. Knowledgeable and friendly she provided information and insights into Hiroshima. We appreciated the empathetic manner with which she introduced us to the memorial museum, cenotaph and peace gardens.
The trip to Miyajima was fabulous. We loved the naughty wild deer and the view of the floating Tori gate was great. We only had one full day in Hiroshima and we were so glad we booked the Snow Monkeys tour as we felt we really got to see and experience the city. Thank you Isabelle!
