A full-day seasonal tour from Kanazawa led by a local English-speaking guide, covering the trolley train ride through Kurobe Gorge, a walk through the onsen resort town of Unazuki Onsen, and a hike to Shomyo Falls — the tallest waterfall in Japan.

The tour begins at 08:00 at Kanazawa Station, outside the Shinkansen ticket gates in front of the information center marked by three large sumo wrestler figures. Your guide will be wearing a Snow Monkey Resorts tour tag. Please arrive a few minutes early as the tour departs on time.
Lunch is not included. A break is provided in Unazuki Onsen, and your guide will recommend nearby restaurants. Guests with specific dietary requirements are advised to bring a packed meal, as options in the area may be limited. A convenience store is available in town.
The tour includes a 20 to 30-minute town walk in Unazuki Onsen and a 30-minute hike to the base of Shomyo Falls. Comfortable, sturdy footwear is essential. The hike to the falls is on a well-maintained trail suitable for most fitness levels.
Comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing are recommended. The trolley train carriages are open-sided, and the gorge can be cool even in summer. A light jacket and rain protection are advisable. Sturdy footwear is needed for the hike to Shomyo Falls.
Coin lockers are available at Kanazawa Station before the tour begins. Luggage may also be stored on the bus if space allows. Guests with questions about luggage in advance should contact the tour operator directly.
Such a fantastic tour, would reccomend this to everyone. Garrett was the perfect guide to take us on the Kurobe Gorge Railway and to see the incredible autumn leaves at Shomyo Falls. Other highlights were getting to soak our feet in the onsen baths and trying to the local delicacy, 'black ramen'. I was a solo traveller but I felt at home with the group, also a great fit for groups and duos.

An amazing day with Garrett - the day was perfect from start to finish. Picked up in a luxury vehicle, guided all day by the kindness of our driver and Garrett who was very well informed and provided such an interesting and fun experience for us all. The scenery was breathtaking! Highly recommend - we are all smiling tonight -thank you !

Perfect Tour Guide - take this tour!!
