Experience Beppu’s unique geothermal landscapes on a half-day guided tour. Visit Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell) and Kamado Jigoku, then enjoy a Jigoku Mushi (hell-steam cooking) experience using natural hot spring steam, all led by an English-speaking guide.
The “Hells” are unique hot spring attractions known for their dramatic colors, steam vents, and geothermal activity. They are for viewing, not bathing.
The tour price includes the admission fees to the sights and the services of an English-speaking guide. Please note that meals are not included in the tour fee.
Yes, the tour includes bus transportation to Umijigoku. However, the movement between the other attractions, Kamadojigoku and the Hell Steam Restaurant, is on foot.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as you will be walking between some of the attractions. Also, consider weather-appropriate clothing as parts of the tour are outdoors.
It's important to arrive at the meeting point on time. If you are late, please contact the tour operator as soon as possible. However, please note that the tour may proceed without you to maintain the schedule for other participants.
We had a great time seeing some of the highlights of Beppu. Our guide Milly was very friendly and knowledgeable, and really made it an enjoyable tour! Bus fare and entry to attractions was included so all we had to do was explore, take photos and eat snacks. Thanks Milly!

One must not missed!
One must not missed! Is the best we have experience the mother nature. All were separated and have to walk from one point to another.
Staff were awesome and friendly. Able to converse in English.
