  • As you step into BUNBUN, you'll be warmly greeted and introduced to the space where your culinary adventure will unfold. This is where you'll get a brief overview of what to expect during the class.

Preparation Ritual

  • Begin your experience with the essential preparation ritual. Wash your hands thoroughly to maintain hygiene, a crucial aspect of Japanese cooking. Then, slip into an apron, symbolizing your transformation into a chef for the day.

Introduction to Ingredients and Utensils

  • Before diving into cooking, you'll be introduced to the range of fresh ingredients and traditional utensils you'll be using. This includes an overview of the unique properties of ingredients like Arita Yaki and Kutani Yaki.

  • Suitable for groups of 1 to 8 people.

  • Duration: 2 hours for cooking class.

  • Optional 30-minute Matcha Tasting at additional fee per person.

  • Late arrivals may miss part of the experience; over 30 minutes late may result in cancellation.

  • Experience is not private and may be shared with other groups.

  • Hosts have limited English but provide excellent hospitality.

  • Hosts are not responsible for injuries or damages; the venue is stroller/pram friendly.

  • A cancellation fee of 5% applies for cancellations within 720 hours of the start time.
  • A cancellation fee of 50% applies for cancellations within 240 hours of the start time.
  • Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before the start time.
