Can I participate if I don’t have an International Driving Permit (IDP)?

No, an IDP is mandatory for participation. It must be issued under the Geneva Convention 1949 and in booklet form. IDPs issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are not accepted in Japan.

What should I wear for the tour?

Avoid long skirts, high heels, or sandals for safety reasons. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Costumes will be provided for the tour.

What happens if it rains on the day of the tour?

If the tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule, subject to availability.

Can infants or young children join the tour?

Infants cannot sit on laps, and infant seats are unavailable. The tour is not recommended for young children due to safety concerns.

Will I receive photos from the tour?

Yes, fun photos capturing the highlights of your go-karting adventure will be provided at the end of the tour.

To participate in our tour, you must have the correct driving documentation for Japan. Here's what you need to bring:

1. Required Documents for All Participants:

A valid driving license from your home country.
An international driving permit (IDP) issued under the Geneva Convention 1949, obtained from your home country.
Your passport.

2. Specific Requirements for Certain Countries:

For participants from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia, or Monaco:

An original driving license.
An official Japanese translation of the license, which can be obtained through the Japanese Automobile Federation (JAF).
Your passport.

3. Requirements for US Military Personnel:

SOFA License or a combination of an active military ID and a state-issued driver's license.

Important Notices About Driving Licenses:

International driving permits must be issued by the authorized agency in your country, such as AAA in the USA, CAA in Canada, or AA/RAC in the UK.
IDPs issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are not valid in Japan.
A physical copy of your IDP is required; digital copies are not accepted.
