Discover the mesmerizing world of Kyoto's Geisha culture in an intimate tour experience. Engage with a Maiko, witness traditional dance performances, and delve into centuries-old rituals and stories. A unique blend of cultural education and enchanting entertainment awaits you.
The cultural introduction is a 30-45 minute session led by an expert guide. It covers the history and traditions of Geisha culture, providing context and background for the performance.
The tour is suitable for participants aged 12 and above, keeping in mind the cultural sensitivity and attention required during the performances and discussions.
Smart casual attire is recommended. It’s important to dress respectfully as the tour involves a culturally significant and formal performance.
Please inform us in advance of any mobility issues. We strive to accommodate all guests, but some parts of the tour may have limited accessibility.
Meals and refreshments are not included in the standard or extended tour packages. However, the Dinner Show package includes a traditional meal. For other packages, guests are advised to eat beforehand or make separate arrangements.
If you have any special requirements or requests, such as dietary restrictions for the Dinner Show, please inform us at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements.
While tipping is not mandatory, it is appreciated. If you feel the guide or performers have enhanced your experience, you are welcome to offer a tip as a gesture of appreciation.

Wonderful family geisha experience
What an amazing experience! After a short walk around the local area we went to a cafe and met with a lovely Maiko. She answered our questions about her training and the lifestyle. We had two very beautiful dances and enjoyed a drink. The matcha latte was delicious. The maiko was very graceful and sweet. We had some lovely photos with her to remember our special time in Kyoto.
