No. The experience is designed for international visitors. Basic English support is available, and the instructor demonstrates each movement, so participants can follow along even without Japanese language skills.

The session lasts around 1 to 2 hours. For small groups (1–2 people), it usually takes about 1 hour. Larger groups may require a little more time.

You don’t need to bring anything special. Just wear comfortable clothing under your costume. All necessary props and equipment are provided at the venue.

The experience takes place at Asakusa Ukon-ya, located at Hanagawado 2-2-5, Taito-ku, Tokyo (Hanagawado Sunny Mansion 803). Exact details will be confirmed after booking. If full, a nearby location may be used.

Cancellations made 4 days or more before the tour are fully refundable. If canceled 2–3 days prior, a 70% fee applies. No refunds are given for cancellations within 1 day of the experience.

It was a blast
It was so much fun and interesting. They did a photo shoot before we got started and then we got into the samurai fun. The people that ran this was so awesome and helpful.
