Lunch is not included. Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes of free time is provided at the Central Wholesale Market, where a wide variety of fresh seafood restaurants and stalls are available. Your guide will suggest reasonably priced options on request.
Yes, this tour is suitable for children of most ages. The Shiroi Koibito Park in particular is popular with younger guests. The overall pace is comfortable, and the walking distances are manageable for families.
Clothing appropriate for the season is recommended. In winter, waterproof footwear with good grip is advised as ice and snow may be present on walking surfaces.

Kid-friendly Walking Tour
We had such a fantastic time with Scott showing us around Sapporo! Our two kids, aged 6 and 10, weren't used to the snow and cold, but Scott was super accommodating and really engaged with them. He even adjusted our itinerary to give us extra time at the Shiroi Koibito chocolate theme park, which was a hit with the kids! We also visited the beautiful Hokkaido Jingu shrine, which was fascinating and gave us a glimpse into the rich Japanese culture. We were lucky enough to catch a procession of Shinto priests during our visit too. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we’d definitely recommend this trip to other parents traveling with kids!
