Tokyo Sumo Morning Practice Tour with Ring-Side Seats

Photography during the practice is subject to the sumo stable’s rules.

On some days, taking photos of the wrestlers or with the wrestlers may not be allowed.

Groups may be split into different stables depending on the number of participants.

Seating inside each stable is first-come, first-served, so later arrivals may sit farther from the front.

If you want to be in the same stable as friends who booked separately, please let us know in advance.

This tour is only for guests aged 12 and over.

Late arrivals cannot join and are not refunded.

Most stables do not provide chairs; guests sit on tatami mats.

Please wear socks, as shoes must be removed inside the sumo stable.

Some areas may not be accessible by wheelchair or stroller.

Guests must follow all stable rules and behave respectfully.

Only tatami areas are accessible; other areas are off-limits.

Leaving the stable early is allowed, but re-entry is not permitted.

Assigned stables cannot be changed on the tour day.

Stables may cancel or adjust practice schedules; full refunds will be issued if canceled.

Practice session length may vary, affecting the tour end time.

Use the restroom before the tour, as facilities may be unavailable.

Same-day reservation changes cannot be accommodated.

Dress appropriately for the weather; summers can reach 40°C (110°F) and winters -5°C (20°F).

There is no separate admission fee for the sumo practice.
