Recently, the number of cafes, udon shops, and bakeries has increased, so I've been going there more often!
The lotus root croquettes at the deli are delicious! 🪷
The large lawns make it a great place to take kids for walks, but the restrooms lack diaper changing stations or baby chairs, and many of the toilets are Japanese-style. I think the area would be even more accessible if the restrooms were updated and the parking lot were wider.
It's a beautiful building with plenty of souvenirs and other goods!
There's also a spacious bicycle parking area and toilets, making it the perfect place to spend some relaxing time.
I visited for the first time because it was the cherry blossom festival.
Admission was free.
I went on a weekday Friday, so there weren't many stalls, but apparently there are many on weekends.
I wanted to eat squid skewers, so I bought some, and they were tender and delicious.
They kindly took and disposed of my trash after I finished eating.
The cherry blossoms were almost in full bloom.
Honestly, I thought the cherry blossoms would be spread over a wider area, but that wasn't the case, so it wasn't really a place for a leisurely stroll.
The parking lot was large and easy to park in.
