Takanawa Mori no Park

3.7 (119)ParkTourist AttractionPoint Of InterestEstablishment

Takanawa Mori no Park is a small but peaceful park located in the Takanawa area of Minato, Tokyo. It is close to Shinagawa Station, making it easy to visit. The park is built on a hill and is surrounded by natural greenery, offering a quiet escape from the busy city.

It was once part of the residence of the Shimazu family, a powerful clan from the Edo period. Today, the park preserves its historical charm while providing a relaxing space for visitors.

The park is simple, with a few benches and walking paths. There are no large attractions, but the natural setting and gentle slopes make it a nice place for a short stroll. From the top of the hill, visitors can enjoy a view of the surrounding area. Sometimes, small community events for children are held here.

What other travelers are saying about Takanawa Mori no Park

Cute little park in the middle of a busy neighborhood. It has a couple of tables where you can have a quiet lunch. Also there is a small trail that goes up a hill under a forest. There is no playground or wide area to play.

Good small park to interact with nature and get muddy.
Lots of fun. My kids were able to play and imagine as they wished. Lots of tools for kids to create their own play.
Beautiful Natural, Touch of Nature in the Shinagawa architecture area. Hidden gem!
